4 Court Bubble Installation
Please be advised that we may have a weather window which will allow Covair to install the new bubble early next week. A forecast based final decision will be made on Friday this week. If the installation goes ahead, members who have booked courts in advance on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, will experience court disruption. Similarly, our Junior Squads that are scheduled for Monday will be cancelled too. A further update will follow on Friday.
Car Park Congestion
Whilst we are delighted that the Wednesday morning Ladies Clinic is proving ever more popular, we are experiencing congestion in the car park. Please may we remind members to park their cars carefully on arrival ensuring that they are within the marked bays. Careful parking will allow the car park to be used to its optimum.
Ladies Social Tennis Evening
This will be our final session for the time being. Date: Tuesday 24th SeptemberStart time: 6.30 – 8.00pm. Please arrive no later than 6.15pm. The format will be the same as the past two sessions and explained again if required. We have decided the fee for this session will be £10.00 per person to include supper. Cash or card payment taken on the day. Huge thanks to Quilter Cheviot for sponsoring this event.
The food choices are as follows:
Buttermilk chicken and chips or salad
Chilli and rice
Hot smoked salmon and avocado salad
Bella's pizzas will also be available.
Your food order needs to be received before the event so please indicate this in your email to Trish.
The winner and runner-up will be announced in Bella's at the end of the evening and they will be open especially for you. Hospice Charity Tennis Event
You may have wondered why this annual charity tennis event has not taken place this summer. It was decided to organise only lunch and not include tennis. That was a shame for all the tennis players who enjoyed the day's activity.
Cathy Mallinson has once again offered to organise tennis followed by a lunch at St Brelades Bay Hotel on Thursday 26th September. Price is £30 for lunch and donations to Hospice.

Entro League - Men's Singles and Doubles
This is a last reminder that entry forms must be received by 15th September!
As it stands at the moment, we need at least one more Men's singles player to run that League and at least two more Men's Doubles partners to run the Men's Doubles League and the same for the Men's Over 55's. PLEASE CONSIDER ENTERING AS IT WOULD BE A SHAME NOT TO HAVE THESE LEAGUES AS PART OF THE ENTRO 2024/25.
Bella's Sunday Hours
Great news! Bella's will be opening on Sundays again from the 15th of September from 9-5pm (food served until 4pm) and will be once again cooking up their delicious Sunday Roasts! They will be offering delivery & collection through food.je plus a great value set menu available in the cafe.
