Club Sessions, Chess Club





Club Sessions


18th Dec will be the final Club Night of the year, but Club Afternoon will continue on Saturdays during the holidays on the following dates: 21st December, 28th December, and 4th January.A big thank you to Chris Leck, who has kindly offered to run these sessions while our coaches enjoy some well-deserved time off. These sessions will be free of charge as they won’t be led by our coaching team. If you’d like to attend, please email Chris at leck.christopher@gmail.com.All club sessions, including Junior Club Nights and Junior Squads, will resume from 6th January.



Bath Towel Donations


We are looking for old towels to deal with leaks/condensation in the four-court bubble. If anyone has any going spare, please could you consider donating them to the Club. Thank you.


Sponge Ball Event


Thank you to everyone who participated in our fun Christmas Sponge-ball event, 18 players taking part across three different age groups. Well done to our three winners: Teddy, Myles and Michael. 


Pickleball Training

Ian Morgan will once again be starting our popular Pickleball training sessions. These sessions will be a mixture of playing, skills and learning the game in a fun environment.


Running Tuesday evenings from the 14th Jan-11th Feb, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm - £10 per session. All equipment is supplied.




Spring Singles and Mixed Doubles Leagues


We will once again be running our popular club league for the Spring. This is aimed at all levels Ladies & Men and also for juniors 13yrs+, who are at the competing level.



Start Date: 3rd February

Finish Date: 28th March

Entries Close: 17th January

Cost per person to enter:

Singles - £10 (to pay for admin and prizes)

Doubles - £5



We hope members enter so we can make this league grow as it gives everyone a purpose to compete and enjoy playing Singles and Mixed Doubles matches.



Chess players, your tennis club needs you!


The club will be hosting the Jersey Chess Club on Friday 24th January at 18:30 at Bella's. We are looking for our most proficient chess players to represent the club in this friendly fixture. If you are a chess aficionado, please contact Garry Forbes at garryanna@hotmail.com or John Menmuir at johnniemenmuir@yahoo.co.uk
