Tie Break 10s, Teddington Visit & Clay Courts

Clay Courts

We’d like to kindly remind members to please sweep the clay courts after play. Sweeping helps maintain consistent playing conditions for all members and shows consideration for the next players coming on court. It only takes a couple of minutes but makes a big difference to the quality and longevity of the courts.

Tie-Break 10s

On Sunday 6th April the club hosted a Tie Break 10s event with 14 players taking part, over 4 hours there were 50+ tiebreaks played with the eventual winner being Tomas who beat Jonnie 10-2 in the final match of the afternoon, a big thank you to all those who took part and to Coach Scott for organising.

Teddington Tennis Club Visit

The club hosted Teddington Tennis Club in London (former club of Kirk Williamson) last weekend in a friendly tournament. Teddington taking a narrow victory. Great afternoon session all round, new connections made, and the prospect of this becoming an annual event, with a ladies team addition on the cards too for 2026!

London Plane Tree Works – Update

We’re pleased to share that the London Plane tree on-site has now been professionally cut back. The tree surgeons did a fantastic job, completing the work efficiently and with great care. Thank you for your patience while the work took place.
